Winter 2021
In mid-September 2021 we began meeting again indoors, socially distanced and with safeguards in place to try and protect choir members as COVID-19 was still rife and, with the onset of winter and a new variant, case numbers were again increasing! So, with this in mind, we planned a 2021 Christmas concert and charity fundraiser that was just for ourselves, no audience was to be invited! A most unusual approach perhaps, but suited to the times and very good fun!

We sang……
We played games…….
We raffled some fabulous prizes…….
There were some very Christmassy hats!
January - September 2021
Our choir, along with so many others and so much of the whole country, was locked down for the third time in the first quarter of 2021 and, therefore still unable to begin preparations for a concert. During this time and until September 2021 the choir continued to meet and ‘rehearse’ on zoom.

2020
This is Songbirds preparing for their Summer 2020 Concert which, of course, had to be cancelled because of the start of the COVID-19 pandemic which led to a first countrywide lockdown in March 2020. As time moved on, it became evident that the pandemic was going to be with us for quite a while so we took to zoom and stayed together by this means for the rest of 2020.

Here members are rehearsing for the Winter 2019 Concert which was very well received!
